For a charitable group in India to receive funds from an overseas source, the government of India requires that the charitable group has registration that complies with the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA).

Without FCRA approval, grantee organisations in India may not legally receive foreign contributions from any donor outside of India.

An 80G certification is one that is granted to non-for-profit organisations by the Income Tax Department of India, granting their donors the ability to avail of a tax deduction on donations. Please ensure you upload a copy of your certificate as we will be unable to send donations to you without this.
